CANADA Week 31-February 27, 2018-Transfers

We finally got Sah, Finda, and Mami together for a pic. Mami was refusing haha.

Salut! Another week flew by and it has been kind of weird haha.

Oh and by the way say Happy Birthday to my Dad this week, cause I won't be there to do it myself.

We have a bunch of different things going on right now that happened to all line themselves up these last couple of days, so Elder Rossi and  have been all over the place.

Mami- So almost everything with Mami is looking awesome. We announced her baptism for this Saturday and have just about everything ready to go . . . except for her Mom's consent . . . so we are going to talk to her today and try again, but this time we are bringing her brother Sah who we actually just gave a baptismal date as well. He is awesome, and she respects him a lot, so we are seriously hoping that she will accept it this time.

We visited the only German guy that I have ever met in Canada and he made us some German food. And Elder Howell, German food is pretty bomb, but we ate some sour cabbage stuff with pork that was a little strange haha. Elder Rossi was nervous.

Transfers- So it turns out I'll be chilling here in Sherbrooke at least another 6 weeks which is what I needed, so life is good! Sadly Elder Rossi is heading back to Spanish speaking in Montreal, so I will be receiving a new Elder. I don't know who it is yet, because he is really a NEW Elder. It will be fun to show him how awesome missions really are, and I couldn't think of a better place to do it at than here in Sherbrooke. So wish us luck haha. (And thank ya Soeur Jules you're a stud and good luck with the baptism!)

The final district meeting with Elder Rossi. And the other Elders will actually be receiving another Elder so they will be a trio which will be fun.

Technology- So as most of you peeps know, the Canada Mission is now a technology mission. Which means that I'll be back on my Facebook account, and while I have no idea what I'll be doing it will certainly be awesome, so be sure to be my friend haha. And I won't be able to really respond to messages with Facebook, so my email is still the best place to contact me.

I wanted to share one really cool thought that has been bouncing around in my head this week. I have been reading a lot of the teachings of Joseph Smith, and he said this one thing that literally was so awesome. I don't have the book, but he said something like, "If He (God) can have faith in us, we can have faith in Him." He makes it sound so simple, but it made me think, How has God had faith in me. Super cool question to ask yourself, because it allows you to really appreciate and reflect on the experiences in your life. What has He given, or taken away, from us in our lives that shows his trust and love.

Anyways thanks for all of your support and prayers, and I love you! I'm excited to let you know how my new companion is. And I get to take another trip to Montreal to pick him up! Which will destroy our kilometer limit for the month....... Have an awesome week!

Elder Wilson

P.S. you can't send me pics of the beach when I'm in Canada haha that's cheating! :) The trip looked like tons of fun! The fam there is doing alright? I totally forgot about those tortoises, but those were way cool.
